“MEXPIPE CHALLENGE SURF CARNAVAL”

THE EVENT "THE MEXPIPE CHALLENGE SURF CARNIVAL"

from Febrero 16th to the 20th, 2007 once again will be the most important surf competition on Mexican soil. Taking place at beautiful Zicatela beach Puerto Escondido Oaxaca for the 7th consecutive year, national and international competitors will reunite.

On this occasion, two disciplines which are by far the two fastest growing water sports in Mexico will be featured: surfing in the womens and mens categories . These events are sanctioned by the (ASP.) professional surfing association the (FMS) mexican surf federation and the (ASEP.) The Oaxacan surf associatio

 

 
 
 

In addition to the surfing we will be living a beach atmosphere and celebrating carnival in which the public will enjoy carnival parades, spectacles, beach activities, fashion shows and concerts.The mexpipe challenge: the avant-garde of beach events offers, and invites on this occasion, the youth to participate in the carnival, which will be held parallel to the surf event. The bases of this contest will be published in the web site www.mexpipe.com.mx 1 month before the event.

We anticipate over 3000 spectators daily.
